Lisa Click and Anne Davis

Did you know that Group Fitness Director, Lisa Click, and Executive Director, Anne Davis, were high school classmates? Lisa was even Anne’s designated cheerleader!  Lisa went on to cheer at Hillsdale College in Hillsdale Michigan, and Anne went on to play basketball at Holy Cross in Worcester, MA (which is also hometown to teammate Josh B).

JD Didion

Did you know that Member Service / Pro Shop Director, JD Didion, SURVIVED A TORNADO?!?! On May, 26, 2001 a tornado whipped through Northcrest Shopping Center hitting Kohl’s, American Health, and Damon’s Restaurant where JD (and teammate Jenny Adams) was serving tables.  JD recalls all the glass in the building shattering and said it really does sound like a freight train going by.  Nobody was critically injured but his car had a light pole on its hood, a dent in the side from a 2x4, and the windows were all smashed.  And now he’s our Code Yellow expert!

In addition to managing our Front Desk and Pro Shop (among other things!),

JD enjoys coaching youth sports and has done so for over 11 years (baseball, basketball and Football). He’s currently coaching the D/O-line at New Haven Middle School. He’s been married four years and has three FANTASTIC kids ages 8-12. JD has graced us with his smile, sense of humor and “PEOPLE HELPING PEOPLE” for over 10 years.

Reagan Mikesell

Did you know that your teammate Reagan Mikesell is an award winning photographer? She has been a part of Homestead’s newspaper staff as the Photo Editor since 2012 and has received two national awards from Journalism Education Association National Scholastic Press Association. In addition to her JEA NSPA awards, she recently received two superior awards and one excellent award from the Ball State Journalism Day 2015. This year, she had the opportunity to shoot the Homestead girls’ varsity basketball team at the state championship at Baker’s Life Fieldhouse. When she’s not behind the camera, she likes to spend time at the lake on her jet ski and shopping with her mom (fyi that would be our very own Michelle Mikesell!). Reagan started working at Spiece in August 2014 in the Kids Zone. Some other fun facts about Reagan are that she is left handed with a hitch-hiker’s thumb, she really likes Chipotle and reading, her best friend is her dog, Lola, and she loves the Los Angeles Clippers (Blake Griffin even tweeted her once!).

Emma Mirwaldt

Emma has been a Spiece Team member for over four years. She started in Aquatics, lifeguarding and instructing, and is now also an MOD.  She was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba but has lived in Fort Wayne most of her life. She is in her fourth year of college, studying physical education and exercise science at Indiana Tech. She spent her first two years of college at Bowling Green State and competed in track and cross country for both schools.

Emma is a volunteer coach for Fort Wayne Express; a track club for children that competes at the USATF Junior Olympics. She has coached multiple athletes onto being All-Americans and hopes to continue coaching elite athletes in the future. Her own accomplishments are just as impressive!  She was All State Track and Field in high school and holds the 800 record at Northrop. She ran at the Division 1 College Cross Country Regionals in 2013, Nationals in 2014, and at the Indoor Track Nationals in 2015 where her Team finished 2nd.  She is a fierce competitor and successful student-athlete, but you wouldn’t know it by her quiet, humble disposition (and if I didn’t make her tell me so I could put it in here).

Esther Bell

Did you know Esther Bell has worked at Spiece since March 2013 in Aquatics and Front Desk.  Did you know that her passion is video and photography and that she recently earned the privilege of being on the field at Lambo as a student Photographer?   Esther is an avid Packers Fan (go Raiders) and persistently contacted their front office requesting the opportunity to shadow their game day media crew.  Her persistence paid off when she was given the green (and yellow) light to hit the field in Chicago at a Packers-Bears game, then with even more access on August 22 when she made the trip to Green Bay. A great experience for Esther and a good lesson in persistence and effort for all of us!

Michelle Mikesell

Did you know the Membership Director, Michelle Mikesell, is an expert Marksman. She is qualified on an M16 rifle, a .38 caliber pistol and a 9mm handgun.  She was also in the Air National Guard for 6 years and was a Command and Control Specialist responsible for scheduling airspace for military aircrafts.  Her drill training included helicopter jumps, mock chemical warfare and a mock plane crash response. She continues to enjoy target proficiency training today.  Who knew!?  She has 4 fabulous children, takes great pride in being a mom, and she loves wearing heels!

Mike Gallogly

Did you know that teammate, Mike Gallogly (Bistro) is a star vocal artist?  He was staged in various shows at Disney Orlando including Hercules & Lion King, attended college on a Vocal Performance Scholarship, and performed opera vocals in several productions including Mozart’s Bastien and Bastienne.  Hopefully one day we can see/hear him in action!  If you have an interesting fact to share about you or a teammate, let Anne know.

Hannah Picotte

Born and raised in the hockey town of Marquette Michigan, Hannah started on the ice rink as a figure skater at the age of 5 and competed in figure skating competitions and ice shows through freshman year of high school.  At 16 she added the pads and hockey stick and laced up the hockey skates.  Hannah played for and was captain of a Girl's Traveling Hockey Team that traveled around Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Canada as left wing and center until she was 19 years old. Now Hannah has over 10 fitness certifications and works for Spiece in many areas including Group Fitness, Aquatics, Sales, Reception and MOD.
